During the COVID lockdowns, what did we all miss the most? Going out to concerts, art galleries, museums, theatre, comedy shows, pubs, restaurants, and getting our hair cut!

In emergencies when the power is out we want to get groceries and a double-double!

These people all make our lives better.

Let's not forget all the students who will now struggle to find a job in their local rural community because of cuts to arts and culture. No museums. No tourists. No need to cute little shops and restaurants. It's a huge snowball affect on rural areas.

Maybe it's time for the under-taxed millionaires to step up and support the arts!

So now they'll have to move to the city, work part-time in retail, pay exhorbitant rent, and save no money.

I sent an email to my MLA. I can't stand by while this government continues to hurt our province, especially the history, culture, and natural beauty of our rural communities.

This week's budget drop in Nova Scotia will be devastating to many corners of the province.
- Cuts and closures for small museums.
- Cuts in community programming.
- Opening up our pristine natural beauty to mining that will poison our province for generations.

Our government wants to accountability. They are just a bull in a china shop, destroying everything it touches.

Nova Scotia’s arts and culture sector was hit hard by cuts announced at the end of the day yesterday by the provincial government.
