About Stella: Stella was rescued 9 months ago from a neglectful situation. She was housed alongside her brother, Link, in a windowless garage that acted as a storage unit for the family for nearly 8 years. They had no air condition and only a singular heat lamp in the winter where temperatures could drop as low as -20F. They had been socialized enough to crave attention but spent the majority of their time in complete isolation and darkness. When the weather permitted, they could look out a screen door to an interstate road. Stella and her brother have since received veterinary care, a proper diet, and lots of snuggles! They live in a house with a large cat-patio that looks out into a lush garden. Stella loves basking in the sun while she watches the squirrels play and birds splash in the bird baths. My hope is that she recovers quickly and spends many more years discovering what it feels like to finally be loved.

My baby boy had spinal surgery today. The house feels incomplete without him here, but he surgery went well and he is in the best hands. He’ll be hospitalized for another 2-5 day for healing and monitoring. 🙏🏻🤞🏻💕
