It's not like all those previous bikes are gone. People are still out rising bikes they bought in previous years

"the" dishwasher video. As if there's only 1

Fun fact is that the Ikea is the 2nd highest assessed parcel in the city.

1st is One Metropolitan.

They could be spaced out. Just remove some. And leave others.

However maybe the Pic doesn't do it justice, but the racks are huge. They're like someone took a regular U rack and made it 30% larger.

I used to hate Facebook Reels for being tons of dumb clickbait. Now it's all dumb AI slip clickbait.

My FB feed is also ruined. Used to be posts from friends and groups you're in. Now it's all random slop posts for rage bait engagement.

I don't believe soulard was historically affluent. It was historically working class.

Of the active ones, #13 and 17 are great. 28 might be 2nd best. But I will always contest that 36 is the best.

Lots of golf carts are swapping to LFP. It's basically standard now for new carts although somehow lead acid is still an option, and there's still some folks that stick to lead acid because of Lithium misinformation.

I also heard of a break on Arsenal by CVPA. Rough time for these old pipes.

There's a water main break on Gustine and Grand. Hydrants open up and down Grand and Arsenal

The bolt isn't a sedan, it's a crossover.

Would you be able to get a Pic for me. I've never seen a two-way cycletrack with just a basic bus stop void. NACTO seems to mandate raised islands

How are bus stops accommodated?

From a bridge width perspective there's no reason to put 10ft into gutter bike lanes + ~6ft into a sidewalk instead of doing a 12-16ft MUP
EXCEPT, we all know the bike lane is really a shoulder that's non negotiable.

Wild to see brand-new grade separation projects (this one in Fairfield, CA) widening a road from 2->6 lanes and only finding room for a 5', gutter bike lane.

This is what I mean when I say that traffic engineering exemplifies an anti-biking ideology.

I've had this exact thought before. There's a finnish guy on youtube that lives in a rural area and bikes to work everyday because most of the rural highways have shared paths on one side.

Those rules seem generous.
Here in St Louis, all fences require a permit, except replacing a fence in the same location and same material as was previously there.

And sheds are limited to 100sqft

This is probably the most realistic option. Yes, STL is the cheapest, and you can get by without a car, but it's a lot harder than other cities on this list.
Cut the car budget in half to $375 (given much fewer miles) and put the other 375 to rent and live a comfortable car-lite city life.

Yeah my grocery store growing up had this (shout out to the pub sub, iykyk)

My current grocery store was recently renovated to move the meat and fish counter to the back so the front corner of the store could become a Starbucks with no seating

Excuse the crude phone drawing, because that's all I have right now, but just a few ideas. Assuming there's enough space and that this side street is quite low volume.
