A wide landscape photograph taken at dusk overlooking the Mersey River in Devonport, Tasmania. In the centre, large concrete grain silos stand prominently on the waterfront against a backdrop of the townโs low lying buildings and distant rolling hills. The sky is filled with soft, streaky clouds catching the golden and pale pink light of the setting sun, which reflects off the calm, rippling surface of the water in the foreground. In the bottom right corner, there is a white watermark featuring an outline of Australia with the text "Kev Peirce Photography."

07.03.2026 21:12 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Early spring quiet surrounds the Admiraliteedi bassein in Tallinn. The black-and-white scene captures the harbor in a calm moment as the city slowly awakens after winter. The water lies smooth like glass, reflecting the straight lines of the quay and the surrounding buildings. Long exposure softens the surface of the sea, creating a serene and almost timeless atmosphere. Modern waterfront architecture stands beside a tall chimney, hinting at the areaโs industrial past. Above, dramatic clouds sweep across the sky, adding movement to an otherwise peaceful scene. The photograph captures a quiet transitionโbetween winter and spring, stillness and the slow return of city life.

The building features traditional mottled stonework, a corrugated iron roof with a red brick chimney, and a wide veranda supported by white posts. A lush green lawn sits in the foreground, bordered by a rustic wooden fence. To the right, a sign on a corrugated fence details the winery's rainwater collection. I just had a thought. Way back, half a century ago I do remember some old film cameras could only take a certain size film.
What I mean is that some cameras could only take enough film for 12 photos. Jamming a 36 photo length of film in would jam.
just a thought.....
