But unofficial little throw downs in an open game room (usually over in one of the hotels) is also good. But it can be hard to stay organized and on task since the hotel spots (like in the JW) usually don't have people to check for badges and won't have staff to keep the playtest on task.

When it has a bit more developed I think you should look into applying to show it off at the First Exposure Playtest Hall. It's one of my favorite spots to check out during GenCon since so many games tend to have space for walk up players and you can chat with other designers. It's near Will Call
