I had this experience once on a business trip and that’s why I have a little ziploc bag of safety pins in my work bag. Hopefully you can just get the zipper repaired or replaced because they’re so cute!

My grandma used to make all the grandkids homemade applesauce and she taught me when I stayed with her one summer. The fall after she died I made a big batch for all my cousins. I haven’t made it since but maybe I will soon.
I’m glad you had the brain space to do this but it sucks its this way
