A bar chart shared by Labour ahead of tomorrow’s Gorton and Denton by-election shows the party polling one percentage point ahead of Reform UK.

But the graph omits the Green Party, which was level with Labour in the same poll.

Greens want to take control of a market that exploits people, is violent & devoid of care.

I worked on our policy in 2019 with grieving families, doctors, an ex undercover- cop...& I'll continue to back it.

People hanging about playgrounds to use drugs is a very specific problem of a criminalisation approach. There's no need to do that if you are not something you are forced to do surreptitiously, at risk of criminal prosecution.

That’s 13 years of a failed “war on drugs”.

Labour should be looking at legalisation, control and regulation - not playing politics with people’s lives.

Posts on social media incorrectly name Green Party by-election candidate – Full Fact Multiple posts on social media have falsely claimed that a former parliamentary candidate, Melissa Poulton, was chosen as the Green candidate in Gorton and Denton.

Posts with thousands of interactions wrongly named the Green Party candidate in the Gorton and Denton by-election before it was announced.

The Greens have now confirmed a different person is their actual candidate.
