I like this section because it praises the film for doing a both-sides without pointing out that the liberal opponents of the Iraq War turned out to be completely right, and the movie made fun of them for no particular reason beyond them being perceived as annoying.

This piece has almost no actual content, it’s a lot of blather saying things we already know.

Based on my expectations from 16 months ago, things are much better than I anticipated.

Both sides are right, it certainly is a phrase that existed before 2025 and is certainly true that the current overcompensating toadies running the Pentagon have made it an excessive part of their vocabularies in the last 16ish months.
