Mark Streeter's August 5, 1992 editorial cartoon for the Savannah Morning News depicting a bleeding dead body face down in the foreground of a bombed out city. The shirt is labeled Bosnia Croatia. The caption beneath reads: "If only your veins were filled with oil, my child, the world would rush to stop your bleeding."

While flipping through the 1993 edition of Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year, I stumbled upon this one which froze that flipping. A simple change to the label on the victim's shirt and it could just as easily run today. The caption's unfortunate message is just as true now as then.

Na pijaci što sam kupovao, sve slatko užas. Ovi što prodaju kuhane po gradu, isto. Ili sam ja neki peh ili ne znam probrat, ali kako god, uvijek me zapadnu ovi preslatki.

Još da je naći negdje sortu koja nije genetski modificirana toliko da je postala toliko preslatka da je gotovo nejestiva. Ovi šećerci su preplavili tržište.
