For those that are curious on the concept, I started off drawing her as a Navi from Megaman Battle Network. But I realized that might be too old/obscure/niche of a reference. So….marvel rivals. Laimu has internet powers and likes swords in her FromSoft games. So…energy swords!

I’ve loved this game since I was a kid.
I used to LOVE playing Minecraft! But like…I’d get WAY too into it.
I even learned basic coding so I could use command blocks to make building faster.

The majority of the “polished” look of a piece comes from how you play with light, dark and blending.
You can achieve metallic-looking art by using shading and highlights!
Here’s a good tutorial I found on Pinterest.
It’s amazing how much thought needs to go in to little things like post timing, descriptions that nobody reads, tags, etc.
It’s given me such a new found appreciation for the efforts some people go to in order to make things on the internet.
