Iโ€™m progressing on text presentation: each character now has its own โ€œvoice,โ€ with gibberish in the style of Animal Crossing or Sims. Voices are pregenerated using Google Text to Speech and preprocessed into short syllables that play synced with the on-screen text (work in progress)

๐ŸŽ‰ Characters can now move at fractional speeds!
The hero walks at 1.5x speed, and the mother at 0.75x.
Sounds trivial, right?
Well, I had to rewrite ALL the movement code to use non-integer types. It nearly killed me ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ
