Blossom Now is the hour of the airborne sneeze, when every doorstep blooms into an ambush. Tree pollen drifts like mischievous ghosts, tickling the soft interiors of noses, turning eyes into small, stinging planets. Delicate pinks unravel the quiet of a walk, petals shedding like whispered confetti, skies filling with slow‑motion calamities, floating, bright, and strangely beautiful, miniature Hindenburgs dissolving in sunlight. And still I step outside, into newly warm sunlight, wading through the fragrant wreckage, laughing between sneezes at the soft disasters of spring.
