I know there's still a lot of negative voices out there re: MSU hoops, but consider this...
Only four teams in the country have more Q1 wins than MSU, and one of those teams (Florida) has a Q2 loss (MSU doesn't).
Purely based on game results, MSU is a top-5 team, with as good a chance as anybody.

Well, it's hard not to make some assumptions when you start trying to figure out all the possibilities 2 weeks out. They certainly SHOULD beat Maryland, but...
If Illinois loses, Wisconsin is the #4 seed and Illinois is #5
Maryland would not move up.
If Maryland upsets Illinois today, they do not move seeds.
Illinois would move to the #5 seed line, and Wisconsin would move to #4.
