Yes! I can finally share this rather spectacular Grey Crowned Crane! Been waiting for a theme like #fancyhat or #PatSharpe but no sign so far 😂 Image shows a large-ish bird with a long neck in a rescue sanctuary. It's body is smooth and white (bit like a swan), however around its neck and back is has what resembles an amazing long, thin-feathered grey coat. It looks like it's going for a night out! Its head is black and white with a splash of red under its chin (think the colour palette of every early nineties teenage boy's bedroom). It's looking down slightly but it has a long grey beak. Now for the really showy part (even more so than the coat!) it has golden spiky head piece on, like Pat Sharpe in the 80s. It's truly magnificent! I'd comment on its legs, other than they're grey, but I managed to lop them off at the knees. Oops! Right, off to get ready for work. Let's see how colleagues handle today's jovial mood because have certainly got it on me 😂
