or more likely to be domesticated. Often animals that are social, live in packs, or those that are willing to seek food in places where humans live. Or those that eat pests.

Same. Opossums do look cool. But I read somewhere that there are some species that may be more likely to be pets for some reason. Usually those that look cool, cute, or easy to keep. Even if not domesticated.

And apparently, there are some behavioral or genetic traits that make some animals easy+

Opossums as pets? I haven't seen that yet. Though I have seen some wild animals kept as pets before, such as snakes, lizards, turtles. Even tigers and caracals as pets, though I don't know how someone does that. I also seen species like tarantulas or ants at times.

Yeah, I could sort of understand that. It's good it's not as flammable as the other versions would be.

And yeah, I could get that too. Sometimes, when you like doing something a lot, you have to do it too, even if it may not be the best place for it too.
