A pair of ink pens that look like they are made from circuit boards. One is black, the other is white.

They aren't AI, so you still have to come up with your own words, but these circuit board pens look like the cutting edge in smart pen technology. Not really. But they do look cool. Finally got back on the lathe after a long break from it.

I am the same, except on a significantly smaller scale. Also, I probably have a way lower standard by which cool is defined.

On a completely unrelated note, I quit smoking 10 years ago today.

Chilling at CVS waiting for the pharmacy staff to come back from lunch. While I've been here, I've heard at least three old people whining about the delay. I'm going to be 60 years old in 45 days. I just was wondering if the License to Bitch will be mailed automatically or do I need to apply for it?

It's December 1st and all the presents for my grands are already wrapped and ready to go! No last minute, all-night wrapping party this year! How is this even real life?

We have municipal electric. Our kids live a mile from us in an adjacent city with for-profit electric service. When there is an outage, our lights are back on within a couple of hours. The kids have waited as long as 3 or 4 days.
