Sitcoms are in dire straits these days. I've heard mixed stuff re: The Paper, mostly trending towards the positive. I find much more humor these days in ostensible dramas that mix their tones exceedingly well. See: The Lowdown (FX/Hulu) & Poker Face (Peacock).

I think he's so naturalistic and lived-in it can disguise the craft of what he does, but when he wants you to notice it, it's RIGHT THERE.

I've been buying 3 copies (Hughes!) plus any variants my LCS acquires. I love Felicia...ASM #194 was the book where I realized I could get the whole story if I diligently looked for the next issue at the newsstand. @gwillow.me is a great fit & Gleb Melnikov a rising star. A must-buy every month.

It's exceptional stuff, and runs the gamut of emotions, but it can be, as the kids are terming it, "A Downer." One of the best things ever filmed for TV, but it challenges you and puts you through the wringer. Be advised, is all.

I use Libre. Unsure about its open sourceness, but it works for me.

Here is my main opinion on AI, in every capacity: What is the point of technology? Is it to make our lives better and easier, or is it to make a very small percentage of people richer? The latter is what AI is doing. The people actually doing the coding are making themselves redundant.

Congrats! It's a lovely book, any bloodlettings and defenestrations aside.

I've met Grant on more than one occasion and I had no idea what to expect...an air of self-importance, a distant detachment, a whirling dervish of unknowable energy?...and they were so engaging & kind & enthusiastic about their work & the work of others. And I'm "just a fan." A+, would meet again.

This is one of the most gloriously fun & smart things to exist in *all this* and I, for one, need to mainline joy as much as possible.

This will be amazing but you know they'll screw it up somehow by utilizing AI.

Still, any reason to go to #LasVegas...
