Inspired by Persian architecture, it was the first Indian building to use the Persian double dome on a high neck drum, the dome being white in colour. The rest of the building is largely red sandstone, with white and black marble and yellow sandstone detailing. It reaches a height of 47 metres (154 ft) with a plinth 91 metres (299 ft) wide. A cenotaph is situated directly underneath the dome, while Humayun's actual burial place is in an underground chamber below that. Newton (1942–1989) was an African-American revolutionary and political activist who co-founded the Black Panther Party in 1966. He ran the party as its first leader and crafted its ten-point manifesto with Bobby Seale. Under Newton's leadership, the party organized numerous social programs and community events, but also advocated for collective defense and threatened political violence. This poster was made for the Black Panther Party in Emeryville, California, in 1968, and features a large portrait photograph, taken by Blair Stapp, depicting Newton seated in a peacock chair and wearing a beret and a black leather jacket. He holds a shotgun in his right hand and a spear in his left hand. Two leaf-shaped Zulu-style shields lean against the wall behind him. It is a relatively small member of its family and is predominantly brownish-grey or brown in colour, with a breast streaked with black and grey underwings. It eats weeds, seeds and insects, the last being especially popular in the breeding season, and it nests on the ground, laying two to six eggs.
