The fact that neither Reform or the Tories understand why one person shouldn’t go off on their own and start a war in a democracy is very concerning. It shows they don’t think it’s important for a government to decide. This is how democracy falls.

You know, State Department procedure is to help people leave _before_ hostilities begin. Trump/Rubio must have deliberately countermanded procedures, intentionally leaving Americans stranded. IOW it wasn't merely their incompetence but rather an actual decision.

I'll admit, watching our fellow American citizens being publicly executed in broad daylight by ICE made me feel a variety of emotions. Fearful, angry, disgusted, anxious, many things.
