Also they keep building bigger houses as well. It's not like we're saying "I only want 2000 sqft". Most of the smaller homes are old, which also means replacing/updating/repairing the house if the people selling it didn't already, and if they did, the price would no longer be "affordable"

I don't think that accounts for where homes are being built. Densely populated areas have less and less room for building anything, and companies kept trying to buy my parent's house to build a bigger building than the one that they have rn cause they denied.

So, we elected representatives because we don't have time to work and dedicate enough time to learn about policies to vote on. Now with AI and robots, that could free up a lot more people to vote on policies directly, instead of on people. Seems democracies are moving there as the cracks grow.
