Looks like the scammers who were going this all on various Mastodon servers a month or two ago have found a new target: Bsky.

They bought this faulty Al prototype from the smarmy snake oil salesman techbro, but integrated it in everything before doing their own tests and pretend to be surprised when it delays work instead of improving it. 🙄 Lots of people have been warning about this for a while and are being ignored.

Researchers have obviously never tried using AI for any real work task
....it's basically like being a dog chasing your own tail trying to get it to get the right results. When you finally do, you save the prompt and the next day it gives completely different results.

It's amazing that adding an untrustworthy layer of work process doesn't strike these idiots as a possible source of a slowdown.

The main thing I've learned about how business works these days is that you have a bunch of rich guys tweaking on pills and powders not thinking anything through and hoping they can keep the train going with enough hype moments and aura.

Why would they not consider it a possibility that a “tool” which just statistically mashes stuff together to spit out an average slurry might slow people down because they have to turn slop into something useable instead of just doing it competently the first time?
