I just watch STAIRWAY TO STARDOM over and over again. I’d so love a TV series recreating those sessions, and all the behind-the-scenes drama between Frank and Tillie…

UPSTART CROW is great! And if you have Kanopy (free streaming with your library card) I recommend WE ARE KLANG, anarchic and absurd, I love it. Upstart Crow is on Kanopy, as well, I think!

I still see people wearing masks just about everywhere, here. Certainly nowhere near the majority, but a noticeable minority of both employees and civilians, in most situations. I am also too self-conscious but I already feel awkward enough, wearing a mask isn’t gonna make it any worse.

Trump was never a tough business man, except when it came to paying the people who worked for him. He started playing a tough business man on TV as a fictional character. That is who he is, an absolute fraud. And this nation of idiots will get what they deserve.

New Yorkers know that he was never that. He was a buffoon in the society pages, famous for not being able to manage his inherited money.

It was a British TV producer that gave him a character to play, “tough business man”. The show was a hit, and we’ve been dealing with the fallout ever since.

No matter what his mugshot looks like, I haven’t seen it, I bet he’s squinting and trying to look “steely eyed” or some such similar bullshit.

He’s trying to look like Clint Eastwood, squinty eyed tough guy. (1/2)

Not sure of a word, but that’s anytime I want to do something that requires me going someplace. I’d love to know a word for that.
