Wanneer gaat de EU eindelijk een einde maken aan de dubbele standaard rond pesticiden? We sturen de meest uitgevoerde giftige stoffen terug naar de afzender. Mancozeb, een hier verboden hormoonverstoorder, wordt in Oeganda overvloedig op tomaten gesproeid en bedreigt zo gezondheid van kinderen.

In Europa verboden gifstoffen gaan op grote schaal naar armere landen Europese bedrijven exporteren steeds meer pesticiden die in de Europese Unie zelf verboden zijn omdat ze gevaarlijk zijn voor mens en natuur. Er zijn nog geen wetten om dit te voorkomen.

Nieuw onderzoek toont aan dat Europa steeds meer verboden pesticiden exporteert naar derde landen. 122.000 ton in 2024! We vragen al jaren dat de EU een eind maakt aan deze dubbele standaard. Tijd voor actie!
