On one hand I'm a bit sentimental about getting rid of the bed that I've had since I moved out of home until now. It went through the entirety of my 20s & pre-married life.
On the other hand, ewww oh Christ oh fuck it experienced the ENTIRETY of my 20s & pre-married life.
We have our OWN footy game here in this state, thank you. ๐คช

18.11.2025 19:38 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I do the same thing constantly. I really miss the style of earbuds that had a cord between them that went behind your neck. It made taking them out to talk to people or whatever much easier too.

It was an entirely okay video game-ass video game!
18.11.2025 05:21 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0As an aside, that Activision Deadpool game from around 2010 to this day sits stupidly high in my Steam 'most played' list purely because I left it on pause at one stage in my 20s & didn't return home for several days.

Your other must-read slice of games criticism for today:
Painting a game guy. Diving back into EU5 shortly.
18.11.2025 03:35 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The one bit of criticism Arnold has of his version that I do agree with is that the cinematography is pretty flat & uninteresting.
I get shooting the network TV show stuff like a network TV show but the whole flick is shot like that.
This weekend did not feature my best performance in Burnout 3's Crash Mode.

18.11.2025 01:56 โ ๐ 7 ๐ 3 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I'm sorry you guys copped shit over Cyberpunk! Awful.
At the store I was working at at the time, I actually had to scan through & box up a few hundred copies of it for return to the supplier about 3 months after it launched.
The company was convinced it would be a major seller on PS4 & Xbone. ๐

lol you actually mentioned on an early episode of the podcast that the director of KC:D2 was a knob who had publicly picked on someone for giving his game a low score. That was me & my review. ๐๐คก
But yeah, Cyberpunk was a shitshow & I was actually relieved in the end that I didn't get to review it.
The amount of times I've been yelled at by randos for lowering the metacritic score & thereby putting developers jobs at risk is Too Fucking Many, & I know plenty of others have suffered that same harassment far worse than I.
18.11.2025 01:40 โ ๐ 10 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Game reviewers should use the full range of scores and opinions available to them. Itโs not a healthy cultural environment otherwise. Tommy Wiseau worked really hard on The Room but that doesnโt make it a good movie.

18.11.2025 01:34 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Lex's Call of Duty review treats Call of Duty like it's art that says something, not a product. It is an essential review of Call of Duty that has the gall to examine it as more than a yearly excuse to play army man and kill other people online with your buddies. You should read it.
