Yup. That's the wild world of indie TTRPGs. Instead of Dunwall of Dishonored, you have Doskvol of Blades in the Dark, and so on.

(Although in John Harper's defense, while BITD is so Dishonored it hurts, the setting stands by itself and has a lot of cool aspects to it.

Under the Autumn Strangely by Graham Gentz A pastoral horror game full of anachronistic Americana in a land that Never Was!

Under the Autumn Strangely is so cool. It's basically an unofficial Over the Garden Wall RPG and it rocks.

For me the weird Patrick pronunciation is the way he says "de-tale" instead of detail.

I somehow read that as "Twilight Princess 'n' Tequila"

Then the reality hit me. Don't do it, you'll be in the hospital before the first movie is even halfway over.

I don't really disagree on Dave being an impostor. But impostors don't have impostor syndrome. That's the opposite of impostor syndrome.

Impostor syndrome
You keep using that term.
It does not mean what you think it means.

Both had the moment where they nearly come to tears when they realize others actually see them as worthy of redemption instead of the monster they see themselves as.

The question we answer shouldn't be "Do you pursue Lu Bu (as an enemy)?" but "Do you pursue Lu Bu (as a friend or a lover)?"

Depends on the generation, really. Older folks know their Bowie, but with younger people (let's say under 40) it's only the ones that are into music.
Surprisingly Prince is one that also can be obscure to people.

In Bohnanza the game is all about trading with other players. I've seen people play very optimally and still lose because they were too precious about trading. Akropolis on the other hand just has players countering others' moves.

For me, player interaction is the way I like to counteract efficiency puzzles. Take Bohnanza or Akropolis for example. Those are mostly simple puzzles to solve, but the juice that makes those games undisputed classics are that other players force you to adapt.

It's paid, but Noun Town is a real good language learning game on Steam. Wouldn't use it as the sole app, but it's a real good addition and helps learn actually useful language.

Or as an example, Blasphemous came out two years after the original Hollow Knight and The Game Kitchen has put out two full games out after it. Blasphemous and Blasphemous 2 are similar in scale to Hollow Knight, and Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is a decently sized game too.

It's normal for an AAA game. It is not normal for an indie game, especially one that uses a lot of existing assets. I might be remembering wrong, but I remember reading that 2 to 3 years is the average dev time for an indie video game. Also, Silksong's been in development for 8 years, not 6.
