...on the flip side, if you are not romancing them, they are a bit one-dimensional, so that's also bad. i wonder why i haven't seen an approval system in any rpg besides dragon age ever, it's probably a pain to implement?

yeah to be honest it turned me off a bit HOW enthusiastic Argenta was to my RT even though we met like... 5 minutes ago? romanceable companions have much better flow, they open up to you slowly as time progresses, and it feels special.

i also noticed that every second RT/WH artist is either from east-/southeast Asia or east Europe, and they both don't exactly have a widespread presence on European/American social media, so I suppose that's also a factor.

same... i suppose warhammer itself is pretty niche in the digital artist community, especially in the part of it which resides on twitter/bluesky. and then you have the CRPG genre on top from a big, but not exactly wide known studio and... yeah...
