It totally can be. What’s apparent is that these ideologies are way to distract us from the big picture. It’s not a war of right v left, it’s a class war. The US has slowly been hijacked into an oligarchy where those with money has the power. Capitalism leads to fascism, which comes in both colors.

The other side of the coin are Neoconservatives, which is the same idea just wrapped in red rather than the comforting blue. Both blueMAGA and MAGA boots and uphold these ideologies.

Neoliberals prefers to government run based on economic freedoms like less government regulation, and the “free open market aka 💰 “. Privatizing public service initiatives, for instance Charter schools in Chicago, public schools are closing in favor for privatized charter schools.

Progressives prefer a government that focuses on social issues, like equity, things that progress a society to thrive. One example is Universal Based Income for adults with children that meet below financial criteria.
