Yes! Plenty of canned food is fine well past the expiration date, but food banks won't and shouldn't give out expired food so donating it just creates more work and more waste. Just eat it yourself (or, if you work at a place like my work, put it on your breakroom table and someone will take it).

Reminder: if you're going to donate to a food bank right now (and you should), do not give them the expired shit from the back of your pantry. Give them money.
