I swear if we lose to Appalachian State on the same day this happens

He's going to be a 26 ppg scorer one day, it's just a matter of when.

This move by Shaedon is just filthy.

Breakout season coming?

Can we get the @trailblazers.bsky.social to post those training camp interviews on here as well🀞

Media doesn't get to watch practice so take this for what it is, but if there's one player that Chauncey Billups and other players have singled out as having a really good camp so far, it's Shaedon Sharpe.

I don’t know what to expect to be honest.

If i had to say I think he’ll have much less volume than past years but his efficiency will take a nice leap. I expect his defensive reputation will also be a positive but I think that comes with being in the bigger market.

Hearing Anfernee talk about Joe is A LOT different than Billups.

Very curious how that translates on the court.

Idk they’ve been harping on it a lot. Grant, Tou, and CB have all highlighted it. Supposiely much more spaced out for cuts. I’m hoping for way way less dribble handoffs between guards.

Speaking of Ant, he was kinda cooking the Blazers for our offensive system last year😬

I agree, just think you can’t lean too heavy one way and expect the other end to catch up without major adjustments. I am definitely excited to see this new offensive system.

30.09.2025 23:36 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I think leaning into one of offense or defense too heavily is a bold strategy for any team to be taking.

It ain’t a revolutionary take or anything. But the premier teams will be consistently top 10 in both, often higher.

I’m curious what the Blazers second lineups gonna look like and how deep Billups will be willing to go in the bench

Bluesky’s limitations on video length are too bad because one video can’t contain all four minutes of Napheesa Collier absolutely ethering WNBA leadership

Napheesa Collier's full statement at the beginning of her exit interview.

She directly quotes conversations with Cathy Englebert that legitimately call into question how the WNBA is being led. (Part 1/2) #WNBASky

Personally, when/if all are healthy, I'd start Clingan, Camara, Avdija, Sharpe and Henderson. That feels like the future for Portland.

Holiday and Grant can still play plenty off the bench and start when others are out.

Likewise. I think in the near future they might Halliburton Sharpe but we won’t even get a Sabonis level player in return

18.5ppg on 31 minutes and has areas where he can feasibly improve in. Idk why more people aren’t excited about him in Portland. Seems like he gets more love from outside.

There aren’t, and especially not ones who the coach and GM still claim are part of long term plans.

That’s what confuses me so much about this Grant/Sharpe situation as well. Disgruntled, nearly impossible to trade 31 year old? Or young, high upside but undisciplined talent on a contract year?

Anfernee on his defense

β€œIt’s just a matter of if I want to do it or not. It's really that simple. Coming into a culture like this, you have to be able to adapt… And [Joe Mazzulla] always says that [I’m] not as bad as people think [I am]. So that's good to hear.”

And the minutes and roles allowed to Scoot and Shaedon have many people outside Portland scratching their heads for good reason.

Certain guys are allowed to tread water a lot longer and it’s on the talent evaluation and projection of the staff. From top lottery picks to raw talent like Giannis and Embiid. I think today’s league you absolutely have to land draft picks; or prey on stupid teams that give up too early like Sac.
