I've heard great things! I tried them but didn't like the interface so went back to my spreadsheet.

But I also know that a lot of ppl don't use tracking that way, and totally get what you're saying.

Entirely fair! I built my spreadsheet to track certain things (tropes, a few diversity metrics, fantasy creatures) and shoot out stats for me. I mainly use it to see what I'm actually liking out of what I choose. Plus to keep myself accountable for reading diversely. Helps me build a better tbr

I've heard great things about Storygraph! I didn't like the interface of their app or website though and that was a killer for me. Getting the insight on reading data is really fun though!

What are y'all using to track your reading? I've been trying Fable this year, but I always end up coming back to my custom-built spreadsheet.

I use it on and off. I've found that it takes ~4 books per month to make it 'worth it'. so if I have a lot of books on KU I want to read that month I get it. so yeah same idea lol

that's fair. I know the first 2 used to be on KU, and I wouldn't be surprised if they go back to KU eventually. so maybe then?

they're easily digestible fantasy with a romance aspect, I'm not surprised they sell well. romance is the number one selling genre in the nation for a reason lol

I placed my order before it was known that it was Onyx Storm. amazon had it listed as "Deluxe Edition Untitled Winter 2025 Entangled Release". I thought ordering that early would guarantee me a preorder on what would be a high demand item. after my order got cancelled, I ordered local.

anyone wondering why the in-store quantity was so limited? or why do an in-person sale at all if stock is so limited? this is why. it created enough hype to force people into stores. it was their way to get a piece of the midnight release type crowd.

in the context of the incoming administration's views on what the media should and shouldn't publish and allow: have y'all archived your digital media (ie ebooks and audiobooks) yet? look into Calibre and Libation. back up your files.
