I discovered this in 2021 during a marathon. Lot of hate. "Worst one" etc. Absolutely baffling. To me it's the only sequel that even comes close in quality. And unquestionably the only one with a good reveal.

Oh and, I GUESS, Samara's film professor, though I would argue anyone appearing in a Scream opening scene doesn't count as a character (Tara being an exception). Everyone else that died in 6 was either a Ghostface or anonymous (convenience store customers, Gale's rando boyfriend, Quinn's hookup).

I don't know if this counts as a spoiler, but I will say that one thing Scream 7 definitely improves over 6 is that Ghostface wasn't just offering randos to make up for the makers' seeming inability to kill named characters. 6 has literally no actual character deaths except Anika and Sam's shrink.

That said, of my annoying ailments, it's the one I absolutely wouldn't wish on anyone. They mess with my sleep, I get embarrassed by the visible ones in my face and arms, and it's just a constant annoyance. Zero treatments exist.

Will asked this morning when he'd start getting muscle spasms like I get (Benign Fasciculation if you wanna look it up) and I assured him it was rare and he probably wouldn't get them. But even if he does, at least I didn't pass on my anosmia or (best I can tell) autism.

Oh that's not my problem, it's the fact that I've never been able to actually beat Gehrman hahaha. But if I can, at least this playthrough I managed to get all three of those stupid cords so I can reload and fight the other boss after him. 🤞🤞🤞

They are, but I'd say go do the first at around level 60 or so and then the next at 70, etc. to break it up. Or save them til near the end and laugh at how easy the first couple are, lol.

I am only bothering because it's pretty much the only trophy I don't have besides the alternate endings.

I love it even more this time around. And weirdly, I am better? I beat Logarious on my 2nd try with no summon (I needed one my first time around after double digit attempts). Working through Chalice Dungeons now, all that's left is final boss of DLC and Gehrman.

I just hope the show is good enough that I want to keep watching. Not really a big ask, but the streaming era produces no shortage of "yeah it was OK" and then I forget it exists before watching a 2nd episode.

This (and the game) remains the only F13 things of merit since the remake. 17 long goddamn years.

Reading up on avoidants and... it truly sounds like the most frustrating way to live. Pushing folks away hoping they stay but also reaffirming their belief that they're unworthy when the other person does finally give up. Just a no-win scenario.

Lord of Illusions isn't the most compelling movie ever made, but it did introduce me to Famke Janssen, and therefore it is essential, anyway.
