I worked for the last ten years as a producer but really I think I was kind of burnt out by the beginning of 2020. It’s not that music lost the fun, it’s more so it felt like a job rather than a pursuit of something. I’m glad I was able to work a normal job and enjoy music again.

I think the A/V community could focus a little more effort on educating in the A portion of A/V I swear to god.

I prefer when the mastering engineer elevates the mixes and improves what is already there. More transparent if possible.

Nothing worse than working with a band for a long time, making the mixes sound awesome only to have them completely deflated by a mastering engineer.
