In August, I will begin as an assistant professor at @georgetown-sfs.bsky.social , continuing my research and teaching on environmental politics, land and resource governance, and conservation, with a focus on Latin America.

Grateful for the support of many people, especially my committee (Robert Heilmayr, Mark Buntaine, Arun Agrawal), and my collaborators in Bolivia and Brazil.

I just defended my PhD dissertation, which examines the distributive politics and unequal consequences of natural resource governance in South America, using cases of gold mining in Brazil and deforestation in Bolivia.
