Progress Update on Home Renovation and Knitting This is going to be a short post. I am not sure when the dry walling team are arriving. Most of the tradesmen arrive around 8:00 am - which is when I like to work on the computer. The work on the house is progressing. They are about to drywall the kitchen and bathroom. From Traditions to New Memories: Our Unique Holiday Story This year was not a traditional Christmas for our family, but it was perfect nonetheless. Quite often our Christmas Day is culminated with Christmas Dinner that will encompass everyone, friends and family - up to 20 or so bodies at the table. Two versions of the same hat. 1) on the left, a classic Grey version with a simple 2x2 rib leading into the cables. 2) on the right, a very hot pink version of the same toque. The tree of life pattern starts at the cast on and moves to the crown. The x and o pattern is embellished with contrasting bobbles and 3 dimensional hearts 💕 in pink and white dangle from the crown.

It is #showmeyourcables week. This is one of my personal favourite hat patterns, Smitten. It features the x and o pattern paired with the classic tree of life.
