I did this on Cycle Oregon. Steel randonneuring bike with 650x42 tires, full coverage fenders, handlebar bag, flat pedals, and sandals. All the carbon roadies having to dismount at cattle guards as I rode through at full speed. All the clippy noises at each stop as I out-accelerated them. Ahhhh.

A personal accomplishment today on the “COD Paint it Black” trail in Bend, OR. I walked the feature first to make sure it wasn’t going to fall apart then just rode it. Mountain biking makes me feel alive again. Suck it, middle-age.

I went with Tidal. I don't listen to podcasts and there are so many free alternatives for podcasts. Tidal is cheaper and seems to pay artist more. Been using it ever since I found out Spotify donated to the Orange One's inauguration.

After riding this trail twice before, I finally built the confidence to try the log roll on Gorge Trail #400. Nailed it on my first try! The start was a little shaky but as soon as I got rolling the rest was easier than I anticipated. Even nailed the dismount. #mountainbiking
