Today has been a year since I went to Liyuu’s Soaring Heart concert in Chiba. For me, it was a special one because it was the first concert I’ve been to in Japan before Liella 6th.

I left Japan just yesterday and a lot has happened in a week.

First, Liella 6th live was the best experience of my life. A moment I’ll never forget!

On Friday, I met Nagichan. Got to see her up close and talk to her for 3 seconds 😭

Aqours１０周年

I can already read Hiragana/Katakana and some Kanji and form basic sentences (writing only) but i still struggle to speak real-time because i’m constantly trying to figure out what words to use and what is the right grammar.

Yesterday at work, I managed to strike up a conversation in Japanese to one of our management staff. He was mind blown when I was able to respond back to him in Japanese.

For years, i’ve been on/off with my studies and him telling me that my japanese is good feels amazing to hear 😁

This is it! I’m going to the Aqours Finale Live Day 1 😭😭

Unfortunately, didn’t end up winning both days but that’s okay! I wasn’t expecting to win both days. But I’m happy!!

Wow. Those customs fees seem more worse than ours. I'd imagine a lot of stuff is expensive in your country. What is even weird is that they don't even ask for customs payment if i use regular mail. I only pay a small amount to claim it. But if i use DHL or UPS, they'll ask for payment.

On the other hand, if you use regular mail. You have to physically go to postal office to pick it up. Also? If you have custom duties to pay. You have to spend hours driving in traffic to the main office. Basically you need to request a day leave from work.

It's absurd how importing stuff in my country can be lol

You pay premium to ship with DHL or UPS but customs still want a piece of the pie. It used to be that items valued over 10,000 Php (or $170>) don't pay any import duties. Until last year, they added a "regulatory fee" before they'll deliver.
