Paper aquatic plant replicas

New work- aquatic plants- mostly invasive. These are paper sculptures.

I have no idea what you are writing, but you've peaked my interest in the religions of slime molds.

Cera colors and cuni. Although I notice they are now using water soluble wax paint as a descriptor.

Water soluble encaustic painting of a pitcher plant with its red and green leaves at different stages of opening up and becoming insect death traps. Several flowers and a bud grow up from the cluster of leaves.

The final piece for cline house gallery. Pitcher plant from my trip to newfoundland this summer.

I agree. I much prefer doing at least the preparatory sketches and colour study from life.
