22.08.2025 18:47 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0not to be all 'ooo im better than everyone' but it genuinely SHOCKS me when i come across people who dont ever reflect. who dont know their intimate, inner world, who go through life so extremely surface level by themselves AND in relationships. like how does that happen??

13.08.2025 20:39 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A graphic print of a Barn Owl peering out from behind a tree heavy with white blossom. The owlβs plumage is rendered in warm browns, golds, and blues, with large dark eyes framed by a pale heart-shaped face. In the foreground, white flowers rise from a bed of green ferns. Art by Matt Underwood.
The tilt of a Wrenβs head, the shadowed curve of a hare in long grass. The weight of an owl's gaze... Moments live again in art. π¨

If I have to explain to you why it's a bad idea to use a machine that makes shit up 15-80% of the time AND destroys the environment AND contributes to rising fascism and genocide AND puts brilliant skillful creatives out of work by stealing their work, then we're already speaking different languages

It really burns me that our (millennials') generation was legally terrorized for like, downloading Radiohead discographies

1) The UK brought in draconian new laws requiring adults to identify themselves online (or at a minimum prove their age)
2) The IDs of millions of women who used the Tea app leaked.
If you can't see why 1) is bad when given the evidence of 2), there's no helping you.
these UK laws are CRAZY im expected to give all these apps and random websites my actual ID and do a face scan to view anything slightly suggestive? nah its time to delete the whole internet, this is not even going to stop children viewing dangerous material, just lead them to more dubious places

in being alive, you inherently hold value. donβt let capitalists convince you that you must provide labor or resources for them to be considered valuable, to be shown respect. thatβs their lie

She appears in period clothing, poised with one hand resting on a book. Behind her, a faded blue original emblem of the Society for the Protection of Birds, which she co-founded, includes illustrations of various birds in flight and perched, encircled by the society's name.
On this day 168 years ago, Emily Williamson was born. β‘
At age 34, she founded the RSPB, setting the stage for over a century of vital work protecting nature, which continues today.
Happy Birthday, Emily...here's to your enduring impact!
