JAMA review, published Nov 26, 2025, on the therapeutic use of cannabis and cannabinoids. Figure 1 details the pharmacology of cannabis compounds including Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC), Δ8-THC and Cannabidiol (CBD).

Approximately 27% of adults in the US and Canada report having ever used #cannabis for medical purposes.
