I can see this! Vernestra doesn't seem to be a gentle master especially compared to how Sol is with Osha and how Qimir hides from her.

I’ve thought this too! And the fact that when he’s talking to Osha about wanting “The Power of Two”—someone at his side—he’s welding his helmet, trying to fix the broken parts like he’s trying to fix his own brokenness.

I didn't even notice this omg! It makes perfect sense as well because he is being open with Osha as well as trying to fix his own brokenness as if he's hoping she could fix some of these broken parts. (Also the fact she's a meknek too where she has to fix broken things feels very on theme for this).

Also for a S2 if Osha gets her own cortosis armour I wonder how who she is and what she tries hides would reflect through her own mask. It would be such fascinating symbolism that Osha and Qimir reflect parts of who they are to others via masks but when they're together there's no hiding.🏃

he is through this mask doesn't truly work as a reflection of his physical scar appears on his mask too. At the end of the day no matter how hard he tries to conceal himself and his trauma it always will be reflected through the various disguises and masks he wears to protect himself.

I've alway had this thought that I feel like the large welded line on the Stranger's helmet resembled Qimir's scar closely and was a deliberate choice.
