Continuation of the ocs line up, four more girls in their early twenties; Amara, Delphi, Jennifer and Théa.

Jennifer is a light skin blasian woman in her early twenties, she's small, fat and curvy with long bicolored bubble breads, one side is dark brown the other caramel. Her eyes are the opposite caramel then dark brown. She wears an all white outfit and a silver jewerly, she's got a mischievous air. She was in her teens in her previous design, thinner with less prononced bicoloration and fuffly pigtails. Notes: I was so excited to redesign her cause I didn't like her og design, it has nothing going on! Everyone is older too, that's so fun!! In winter big coat + shorty short (next to a doodle) I've been meaning to draw bubble braids for so long, I'm so happy. :) One cute, one scary # duality (doodle of her eyes) (next to a picture of Nerium, a light skinned asian demon guy with black hair in a messy bun and ligthning scar on his face.) both dominos. I just realized the similarities, oh they would hate each other so so much.

Théa is a young black woman and demon, she went through various appearance over time; she was purple with long black braids and tiny dark horns in 2017, then became brown with blond hair half of which braided in 2018, her color palette turn towards green then. In 2021 she got a green afro and her horns and eyes become yellow. In 2026 she gets shoulder length light brown twists, both her eyes and horns become brown. One attempt at redesigning her followed closely to her 2021 design, the outift barely tweaked; a long yellow skirt with a bow over a white shirt, a short sleeved green jacket and white boots. Notes: way too cute; the skirt doesn't work. Now she wears a simple jeans and shirt combo with a couple accessories like jewelry and a keychains. Notes: Better, normal gal core. fuck yeah i love a good pants. keeping the bow it's 8 years old now.

Amara is a dark skinned black woman, she has dark eyes and braids that ends with loose wavy blue hair. She wears a blue croptop with a wave motif, a white pants with blue and beige accents, dark socks and white sport shoes with a fish motif. She has two blue bracelet, a shell bracelet and a small tooth gap. An attempt at redesigning has her in a simple white top and blue skirt. Her older design has her hair go from black to brown to blue, a black shirt, yellow pants and blue ballerina shoes; she had more makeup and glitters on her cheeks. Notes: i can't make the glitter work ): (to first attempt) who is that. what is this pose... nothing is going on here!!! bad. no!!! the way i spent 3 hours on this. (a "yeay" points to the shell bracelet. Then to an image of another oc wearing a similar similar outfit) too alike (underline twice). Amara; her and Amaya ere always made to sit next to each other in class. -ocean fanatic -whimsical -the weird girl who grows to be referred to as an ugly duckling case by the same assholes who bullied her.

A red traffic light leads down to an aerial panel of Ashley Lovell waiting in his car - a small-ish modern coupe. An elderly Black woman crosses the intersection in front of him, holding the hand of a little Black girl who is talking animatedly to her, a shopping bag on her arm. Ashley takes the opportunity to adjust his rear-view mirror.

The pedestrians are dressed for winter, the little girl wearing a knitted hat with teddy bear ears over two curly afro puff pigtails. She notices Ashley’s gesture through the windshield and mistakes it for him waving, so grins widely and waves back. Ashley waves back with a smile. The girl reminds him of Heliotrope - though of course he only knows her as the dying girl he potentially saved from the infection in the previous chapter, and as his thoughts drift back to seeing her arm tear itself apart through skin and muscle and bone in order to magically repair itself, his smile grows strained, dropping completely as he begins to ruminate and fixate to the point of breaking down what he saw into an anatomical diagram - labeling muscles like the brachialis and flexor carpi ulnaris, the humerus bone and its medullary cavity, the layers of skin and tissue.

Ashley is startled back to the present by a car honking - the light has turned green. He waves to thank the driver behind him with a sheepish smile before quickly making his turn, embarrassed. He eventually pulls into the driveway of a small garage built into the side of a hill, stone stairs leading up to a beautiful and stately vintage home with a steep front yard with sprawling greenery. An upstairs balcony serves as a covered front entrance and a tyre swing is tied to a tree. Ashley takes a moment in his car inside the garage, slumping forward, his forehead resting on the steering wheel as his grip loosens. “It’s different to see it in the flesh,” he thinks. “Did it really work? Do we actually have a cure? After all this time? ‘Cure’... I’m still thinking about it like it’s a disease, and not… whatever that thing was. God. God!! What am I supposed to do? I feel like I’m sitting on a bomb. I wish I could see the girl, at least, I wish I could chefk it iw as her or the medicine so I know this isn’t some fluke or external factor, I wish… I wish I knew if she was okay. (Smaller font) I wish I could ask my brothers.” Ashley grimaces, picking up a box from the passenger seat and clicking open the driver door. “Yikes. Nope. Not until I can be sure what I’ve got. No need to light that fuse for nothing…” Inside an airy foyer clad in light wood, Ashley calls out, “I’m hooome! Anyone around? I bear donuts.” Someone yells out, “Nice! Come bring ‘em up to my ensuite.” Ashley turns in the direction of the voice with an expression of abject disgust and concern. The voice adds, “I’m not pooping,” and Ashley goes to take off his satchel, muttering “Small miracles.”

Ashley pokes his head into Maddoc’s ensuite where Maddoc is shaving his beard. Ashley: “Hey, did you see the latest candidate jabs I left for you?” [An illustration clarifies that he means a syringe like the ones he left the vampires.] Maddoc: “Yeah, yeah. What flavours did you get?” Ashley: “I’m serious, it’s really important you keep-” Maddoc (sarcastically): “Oh my god mom, yes, I have one on me right now-” Maddoc notices that Ashley’s hair is a little longer than his shoulders now and ruffles his head with a grin. “Whoo, you growin’ your hair out? You gotta do it more subtly than that, the normies will notice…” Ashley tries to fight him off. “Buh- No, I just- got… busy.” Maddoc: “Too bad. Now, you got about ten seconds to call dibs on the ones you want ‘fore I dog out.” Ashley smooths his hair with disdain before adding, “Matcha lemon. Who are you shaving for, anyway?” Maddoc turns back to the mirror with a detached expression. “Finally found out who that guy was.” Ashley’s face falls as Maddoc continues, “Turns out he was one of ours, but only a stray. Sorry- know you don’t like it when I call ‘em that. I meant one of those, Surprise! Wolf Dad! Babies. No kids, just his mother. I’m bout to go visit.” Ashley rushes off with a guilty expression saying “I’ll get changed quick.” Maddoc pays attention only to the donuts, spearing two on his fingers saying “Peanut butt-ah come to papa”. The scene transitions to a simple mantlepiece bearing a vase of wilting hand-picked flowers between family photo frames. Speaker: “And you won’t have to worry about money, Mrs. Lancaster. We’ll take care of you.”
