Welcome back after Half‑Term! Today Year 7s joined a lively book talk led by Alana (Y12) on The Line They Drew Through Us by Hiba Noor Khan, exploring culture, recent history, friendship and roots. It was a lovely time hearing some usually quiet voices speak up, showing the power of a great story!

Year 7 Book Awards Reading Challenge update: Our third Book Talk on Shrapnel Boys sparked interesting discussions and encouraged students to explore more historical fiction. It was our most attended book talk yet. Fantastic engagement all round! Thank you Joel S (Y12) for leading it.
