Tunic is probably the wildcard here, since it doesn't really "directly" tell it's story in the way the rest of these games do. But ohhhhh man, the tone, atmosphere, and subtext are spot on. Fully recommend playing this if you haven't already!

Honestly if you watched a full LP of it then you probably don't *need* to play it, but I'd be hard-pressed to not still recommend it. It's one of those games that I just constantly circle back to replay. Absolutely in love with it 😭

Also if you ever want to just bawl your eyes out? To The Moon, 100٪. The gameplay is janky in some places but its a pretty short game, so don't let that stop you. And the emotional payoff is sooooo worth it.

Absolutely at the top of my list of "games that make you cry like a baby"

Honestly Night In The Woods is such an underrated gem. Maybe its because I'm just a sappy ass bitch who's forever stuck on the sentimentality of friendship and nostalgia, but man that game just lands SO good
