BG3 fancomic. Rowan kneeling down plucks a blue flower from the ground. Astarion, arms crossed, says, "Flowers are so overrated. They're bright, gaudy, and almost never make good poisons." Karlach wipes a tear away. "I used to be the scourge of the hells. Now flowers can make me cry."

Rowan approaches Astarion and says, "Astarion, hold still. There's a leaf in your hair." Rowan pretends to remove the leaf. "Got it!" Astarion says, "Why thank you, darling." The group snickers. Astarion is now wearing the blue flower, tucked by his ear. "Really?" "There's nothing funny about having someone who adores me and helps to maintain my exceptional beauty." Karlach smirks, seeing the flower. "Mmhm." Rowan thinks, "He's going to kill me when he finds out."

Bg3 Fancomic. Gale and Rowan stand before the entrance to Sorcerous Sundries. Gale exclaims, "Finally! Sorcerous Sundries! The Annals of Karsus must be here!" In the background Rowan notices something off to the side and dashes off. Gale frets and calls after him. "Rowan? Where are you going! It's right here!" Rowan shouts back, "One sec!"

Gale sees Rowan has found another cat. Rowan reaches towards the cat and asks "Can I pet you?" The tuxedo cat says, "Hold, seeker! Swear fealty to Sharess! Spread word of her glory!" Rowan responds, "Sharess? Well, I'm beholden to Mielikki, but you're just so cute! It couldn't hurt to hear you out." Gale asks, "Are you letting a cat convert you?"

When Rowan sees a cat, meeting it takes priority

Rowan lying on his back after a fall, Gale and Astarion leaning over him. Gale says, "Rowan! Can you hear me?" Astarion questions, "Is he alive?" Rowan starts to come to and opens his eyes, but is in a daze. Gale says, "Ah! Are you all right? That was a nasty fall from the cliff edge." Astarion teases, "You fell right on your ass! We all saw." Gale chides, "Astarion. This is serious!" Astarion brushes it off, "He's fine! And it was very funny."

Rowan looks up at the other two. Astarion beams with radiant light from Rowan's point of view, but Gale is out of focus and holds up three fingers, asking "How many fingers am I holding up?" Rowan chuckling softly and reaches towards Astarion, "Angel..." Astarion grins, "Well, hello."

Gale calls out, "Shadowheart! Hurry! He's clearly concussed!" Rowan passes out.

Dazed and confused… Rowan took a tumble and might be seeing things

BG3 Fancomic. Astarion gestures to Rowan, "Here's my little treat with their cheeks all flushed. You will come to my bed tonight, won't you?" Rowan responds, "Your... bed."

The first panel focuses on the inside of Astarion's tent, highlighting the blood, rags, and wooden stretcher he sleeps on. Rowan falls quiet, looking disturbed. Astarion responds with a harsh tone, "What."

BG3 Fancomic. Astarion holds up a dagger by the tip of the blade, "Watch and learn. I'll start simple." He quickly spins it between his fingers.

He offers the blade to Rowan, "See? Easy." Rowan not satisfied with the poor instruction, "Sure." A BG3 style multiple-choice prompt appears with two options: "Copy exactly what he showed you." or "Drop the dagger and run away." He chooses to attempt to copy but difficulty class is 20 because of the previous poor demonstration. He rolls a natural one and fumbles the dagger and Astarion stifles a laugh in the background.

Astarion, smug, "Ha! Plenty of time for practice." He pauses his teasing, smelling blood. "Were you cut?" He asks as Rowan kneels to pick the dagger off the ground. Rowan inspects his palm to see a thin slice across it, dripping blood. "Oh. You keep your daggers sharp. I didn't even feel that." Astarion leans in, eyes fixed on the bleeding cut. Rowan asks, "Uh, do you..."

Rowan states, "You're a bad teacher." As Astarion drink blood straight from Rowan's hand.

Astarion leans against Rowan, smirking, "Am I doing this right?" Rowan doesn't seem to notice the flirting and adjusts Astarion's form, explaining the ins and outs of archery at length.

Astarion makes a successful shot on a training dummy, slightly amused while Rowan beams. Astarion resumes his flirting, "Now. What can I do for you in return?" Rowan pulls out a dagger, "Teach me a cool knife trick!"

BG3 fancomic, modern AU. Astarion complaining to Shadowheart, "Valentine's Day. Ugh. So overrated. And the flowers are so gaudy! The bar will be full of lonely hearts tonight, no doubt." Rowan hiding behind a wall with a bouquet or roses in his hands, thinking, "Shit. What the hell do I do! He likes pretty things, so I thought he'd like flowers. I gotta get out of here." Astarion walks into Rowan, who quickly hides the roses behind his back. Astarion says, "Oh, Hello, darling. What brings you by?" Rowan nervously laughs, "Haha... Hi! Funny running into you!" Astarion responds, "You know I work here. What did you just hide behind your back?" Meanwhile Shadowheart eavesdrops.

Rowan pushes the flowers against Astarion's chest and says, "For... for you. I saw these and thought they looked nice. But if you don't like flowers you can just give them away or something." Rowan dashes off, "I'm running late for a, uh... thing! See ya!" Shadowheart nudges Astarion's shoulder. "Good going, Romeo."

Lil Valentine's comic based on a Modern AU I've been writing on the side. Rowan arrives in town and gets a crush on a bartender, who takes advantage of it ofc. Meanwhile Shadowheart finds great amusement in it all. Happy V-day! 💘

BG3 fancomic. Entering the Githyanki crèche. Gale marvels at it, "A Githyanki crèche! How incredible! The language! The culture! I should have brushed up on my Tir'su." Lae'zel isn't as impressed, "This place is an embarrassment compared to my crèche." As they're distracted, Astarion gets Rowan's attention and invites him to deface the portrait of Vlaakith.

Astarion chuckles as Rowan marks the portrait, but quickly pushes him away before they can get caught. "Shit! Someone's coming. Run!" The Gith Vis'kiir spots the portrait. "No! Was this your doing, istik!? They'll have our necks for this!" Lae'zel and Gale turn to look at what he's talking about and spot the defaced portrait, now with cat features drawn on Vlaakith's face. Gale panics and shouts, "I had nothing to do with this!" Lae'zel yells, "My queen!"

Bg3 Fancomic. Karlach, Astarion, Gale stand back as Rowan checks to see if Nere is dead. Rowan confirms, "Yup. Dead."

Gale, looking to Astarion, says, "Well. All we need to do now is... remove his head." Astarion shoots a look back, "Don't look at me." Karlach pipes in, "A swing or two from my axe should do it! Might get messy though." Meanwhile Rowan is already hacking away.

The group stares at Rowan in silence as he carries Nere's removed head, covered in his blood.

Rowan glares back, "What. Like it's hard?"

Not Rowan's first time, but also grumpy/sweaty and ready to get the heck out of Grymforge

Rowan sits on the ground, surrounded by numerous broken lock picks after many failed attempts at opening a stubborn chest. He grins, sheepishly asking for help. Astarion isn't amused.

When you fail the simple roll 10x and have to do the shameful switch to Astarion to not break more lock picks.

BG3 Fancomic Rowan notices something shiny on the ground, hidden partially beneath a mossy rock, and kneels down to dig it out.

Rowan presents the amulet he dug out to Gale. "Gale, can you identify this?" He responds, "Ah! I would be delighted. Let's see..." "From what I can tell... This amulet allows the wearer to cast 'lesser restoration'. If you don't mind it has been a while since the last magical artefact I-" The amulet is snatched from his grasp.

Rowan slips on the amulet with a little "heh..." and offers Gale a consolation magical item. "Ring of Colour Spray?" Gale isn't amused.

Rowan wanders around asking "Has anyone seen Myshka?" Astarion shown in the background holding up a big book. Astarion pets Myshka, who was hidden behind the book. "I'm your favorite. Isn't that right?"

Rowan devastated he can't find Myshka, "I lost him... I don't deserve to be his mermer!" Astarion, covered in white cat hair, "So much fuss over a cat. Honestly..." Rowan, fearing the worst "Astarion... you didn't..." Astarion responds, "What?! No!" And pulls purrito Myshka out from behind his back. "I found him like this." Rowan turns away, "If I look any longer, I will die."

BG3 Fancomic: Myshka Rowan dashing towards Myshka, a white cat. Astarion off-frame says, "Must we stop to pet every stray?" Rowan kneels to talk to Myshka, "Aren't you the cutest lil guy!" and Myshka asks, "Are yerrrr mer mermer?" Rowan responds, "Yes! It's me, my son." Myshka happily exclaims, "MERMER!" The cuteness is too much for Rowan.

Rowan, standing in armor with a green wrap around his torso, in the Devil's Fee talking to Helsik. "One portal to the House of Hope, please." The wrap is revealed to be a sling for Myshka, adopted by Rowan. "We're going to kill a devil." Astarion is annoyed, but Gale dotes on the cat, "Aw, look at you!" Karlach isn't too happy about going back to the Hells. "Let's get this over with."
