Quick shoutout to the writers and reporters helping bring to light and shares ideas to help the NSFW games situation right now. Feels like the support is crazy good, and people really making a difference while I'm busy burring my head in the sand so I don't explode.

First of all, thank you sincerely for taking the time to cover this issue. It genuinely means a lot to see someone paying attention. Our game is a free project we’ve been developing for about half a year. Watching it grow over time was incredibly motivating for us. Unfortunately, the delisting occurred just as we were preparing to release a new update, resulting in a major drop in visibility. Our view count fell to about one-fifth of what it had been, and with it, so did a lot of our momentum. We’re deeply dissatisfied with how this situation was handled. It felt rushed, careless, and ultimately harmful, leaving many NSFW artists and developers effectively censored. This kind of conduct comes across as, at best, ignorant and at worst, an irresponsible abuse of platform control. That said, we’re doing everything we can to push back against this. And most importantly, development of Foxgirl Caretaker will continue.

If you care about games, take a moment to read through this and take action. NSFW games might not be for you - they're not for me - but we cannot allow a small group of censorious extremists to decide that people can not make games about sex, about sexuality, and about the role of sex in our world.

When OF nearly banned explicit content due to payment processor pressure, public outrage ultimately forced payment processors to back down. I’m confident this could work here as well.

Mastercard: Sex Work is Work. End Your Unjust Policy. Mastercard's new policy unfairly targets the adult content industry, making sex workers more vulnerable, especially Black trans women. It must be stopped.

It's absurd and dystopian that payment processors get to decide what we can and can't see on the internet.

That companies like Visa and Mastercard can use their enormous size to bully companies into taking stuff offline - based on the reactionary politics of a small group.
