Today and tomorrow I am in Berlin attending a conference on human embryos in medical research, organized by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (#BMBF).

I had a very interesting and fun discussion with organizer Mohammed Ghaly in Riga in August. We talked about the ethical aspects of having the congress in Qatar, but also Islamic views on disability and synthetic embryos.
