Yeah, mac has always been great for audio, that's why I just got an m4 Air after saving forever. My 2014 MacBook pro was still running Ableton better than my much more modern PC. I haven't seen the port situation with the Neo but yeah that can be a problem, I'm frustrated by only 2 USB on my air

i'm very curious to see how music production software performs on the new $600 macbook. it could be amazing for an entry-level music machine since you don't have to bother with ASIO bullshit, so you could get a tiny mobile interface or just use the mic and have good performance... possibly

really frustrated by this OBS bug, it seems to be the same problem that kept freezing my webcam on my desktop pc, now on my macbook but freezing desktop recording, and it freezes much faster and more reliably than on the desktop. rugahghaghhgahhgahgahgahg

I hate war. It's fucking wild to me that i know people in two countries far away from me which are at war with each other. I don't want to talk about negative things on this account too much, I don't think it helps but make everyone miserable, but this is just such a wild thing to grasp

people are rightfully upset at the things going on in the industry with misguided overbudget huge games, exploiting players and devs, but they're so overzealous that innocent game devs get caught in the crossfire. it sucks. people just want a spectacle

this hit me harder than i expected. very emotional experience to listen to it again after all these years, experiencing it anew yet familiar, trying to remember the lyrics as i went along. it still feels as fresh and surprising as ever. i'm sad i lost track with them over th years, they've been busy

i hated the look of the game from the beginning, but i wanted them to have time to listen to feedback and course correct and hopefully give an example of a new type of game to be successful. now they're adding account progression a week before shutting it down entirely, which makes no sense at all

the Highguard situation is sad. it seemed like something salvageable with time, and now it's just shutting down completely. the industry is so fucked, and i really fucking hate this whole "this game is the next Concord" bloodlust for every new game that doesn't look amazing to fail
