We need the TV news shows to return to covering healthcare policy problems, but Big Pharma sponsors won't let it happen. And as long as we only blame insurance companies, the incompetence and corruption in medical care won't get fixed.

I never had problems with insurance, but it always seemed that my copay determined the quality of my care. I lost my programming career because a doctor was unable/unwilling to treat my combination of bacterial bronchitis and hypothyroidism. Too late, I was properly treated by another doctor.

Has anyone here watched the Max series Somebody, Somewhere? It just wrapped up and I'm missing it.

I admit I'm confused. Was he just against mercury in vaccines and similar problems? While he wants to limit food coloring and pesticides, he knows little about biochemistry and apparently isn't aware that iodine deficiency is one of the biggest problems with fluorides in public water.
