Coerthas had been lost to ice for years and the hope of the return of spring long lost. Accepting the job to be a House Knight for Lord Pieruelle gave Mikh'a a chance to see those seasons again and hope someday for the cycle to return to his home.

Training to become a Knight Dragoon is not simple and in the process Mikh'a was discharged due to an accident resulting in almost half his body covered in burns. His partner was lost.

At the beginning Nullus had not seen the looks he received. And he believed his own to be unnoticed. Little sparks of affection lighting an otherwise dark transition between Nobility and Businessman.

Nullus has come to love the sound of rain as it falls through the leaves and patters on the roof. The smell of wet grass and soil has become a source of comfort.

Of all the Fates he had seen it was the tangled mess of dreams before the Steps of the Holy See that terrorize him still. So many threads ended and lives cut short. If only he had been able to interpret them better the dreams may have been a warning.

After recovery, after the war, and with no other real prospects Mikh'a was given the post of House Knight. A trip to Gridania would be his first time leaving the city.

Even after his recovery Mikh'a loved watching the clouds. Finding a roof top to lay on in between the patrols he'd spend hours there if he could. Snow or not.

Nullus and Raffyr enjoyed their trip to the Weal or Woe promenade. Getting to see flowers from before the calamity were a delight but getting to enjoy grapes thought long lost was the real treat.

Day 8: Water
First thing Albier did when he left Ishgard was go to the beach. He had spoken with his brothers about where they wanted to go and all four had wanted to see the ocean. And so that is where Albier went... and where he became Nullus.

Once upon a time these had been grass-covered and lively. His brothers had told him of their patrols chasing down beasts too close to the roads. He had never seen it himself though.
