Stitched this on 18ct white aida while watching The Last Of Us (which made me take longer than expected to finish because hot damn, that show is so captivating!)

A cross stitch that reads "Please be patient with me, I'm from the 1900s" in a black, old-timey font that is slowly being highlighted with very bright yellow and orange shiny beads.

The pattern doesn't call for beads, but SPARKLY MUST OCCUR. Design from @screamingheart.bsky.social, hopefully fully sparkly this week.

I hear you! It’s also not too bad if you have a soft light underneath or a white blanket on your lap.

Once I stitched 1-over-1 on black 25 count though and I’m not sure I’d ever attempt that again 😅
